Blackened Sirloin Steak

2 tsp.  Paprika

1/2 tsp. Thyme

1/2 tsp. Watkins Onion Granules

1/2 tsp. Watkins Garlic Granules

1/2 tsp. Sugar

1/2 tsp. Salt

1/4 tsp. Watkins Black Pepper

1/4 tsp. Cajun Pepper

1 Boneless Beef Top Sirloin Steak (2 1/2 pounds), 1 1/2 to 2 inches thick

In a small bowl, combine paprika, thyme, onion powder, garlic powder, sugar, salt, black pepper and cajun pepper. Coat the steak with the seasoning mixture. Heat a large nonstick skilelt over high heat until hot. Carefully place the steak in the skillet and cook 6 to 7 minutes on each side for medium rare, or until the steak is cooked the way you like it and the coating is blackened. Slice the steak across the grain into thin slices and serve. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
